Welcome to Blackwater Nursery
At Blackwater Nursery we welcome children the term after their third birthday. We have three intakes a year; September, January and April.

Nursery children spend a lot of their day with our reception children, enjoying their learning all together, in the classroom and in our spacious garden area.
They also have their very own cabin where they go to do their phonics and number learning.

Nursery is taught by Mrs Murley and lead by Mrs Springall.
Blackwater accommodates three and four year olds for up to 30 hours funded sessions per week.
The 30 hours of free provision is available for families:
- where both parents are working (or the sole parent is working in a lone-parent family) and each parent earns the equivalent of 16 hours a week at the national minimum or living wage of £7.50 per hour, and earns less than £100,000 a year.
- You have a partner and one of you gets any of the following benefits: Carers Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Severe Disablement Benefit.
We offer additional hours, on top of those that are funded.
Costs are as follows:
- £5 an hour (if not included in funding)
- £3 for each Lunch time (if not included in funding) School lunch available, paid separately
