A Message from the Headteacher
Dear Parents, Carers and families,
Welcome to our school website. On behalf of myself, the staff and governors, I hope it gives you an insight onto our welcoming and loving school, here in Cornwall.
Blackwater is a happy, caring Primary School where we pride ourselves on being able to get to know every child and family individually. We all work very hard to nurture all of our children, by striving to achieve high standards in all areas of the curriculum. We also support our children in developing confidence and patience, tolerance and perseverance, as they develop into happy and successful citizens of the future.
As a school, we have a passion for the outdoors and use this in all areas of learning. With our Wild Area well established, children have a sequence of learning around Forest School skills as well as using the outdoor to support children with their social and emotional learning.
At Blackwater, we believe, and work hard to ensure, that children thrive in an environment in which they are happy, challenged and secure. All of us at Blackwater hope your child's experience in primary is exciting and memorable. We understand that these school years will help set the foundations and building blocks for a positive. life-long journey of learning, developing and fulfillment.
